President Donald Trump has announced a 10-per cent tariff on European countries for opposing the US proposal to take over Greenland.
The UK, Denmark and France are among the nations that will face this tariff from February 1.
In a Truth Social post, he said the tariffs would be raised to 25 per cent on June 1 if a deal is not reached for “the Complete and Total purchase of Greenland” by the US.
