The UAE has launched ‘Naseej’, an initiative to push the textile industry towards circularity.
The initiative has five key pillars: collection & recycling, awareness & outreach, behavioural research, policies & regulations, and circular business & innovation.
The aim is to shift the industry away from a linear system towards one that reuses materials, retains value and supports long-term sustainability.
