UK production output was estimated to have decreased by 0.5 per cent quarter on quarter (QoQ) during the quarter to October, official statistics show.
This is the sixth consecutive fall in the QoQ growth.
The largest negative contributor to the QoQ fall in October came from manufacturing, which was down by 0.7 per cent QoQ.
Six of the 13 sub-sectors in manufacturing fell during the quarter.
