The eighth round of UK–Switzerland enhanced Free Trade Agreement (FTA) talks focused on boosting economic growth, supporting British businesses and jobs, and strengthening the £28 billion (~$37 billion) services trade in finance, legal, and transport sectors.
Switzerland, the UK’s 10th-largest trading partner, saw £45 billion (~$59.4 billion) in bilateral trade in 2024.
