UK’s clothing imports rose 2.94 per cent year-on-year to £1.295 billion (~$1.758 billion) in July 2025 but fell 9.69 per cent from May.
Textile fibre imports increased, while fabric imports declined.
In Q2 2025, clothing imports grew 2.34 per cent to £4.056 billion year-on-year but dipped from Q1.
For 2024, imports fell 7.06 per cent to £14.612 billion, continuing a multi-year decline since 2022.
