US Customs and Border Protection has issued a withhold release order (WRO) to detain, garments and textiles manufactured by a Mauritian company, citing forced labour use.
The WRO is the fourth issued in 2025, and the first in FY26.
The evidence showed that workers at the company’s units are subject to four ILO indicators: abuse of vulnerability, debt bondage, deception and intimidation and threats.
