Cabot Sanmar Limited, a joint venture between Cabot Corporation and The Sanmar Group, will invest ₹220 crore (~$25 million) to expand fumed silica capacity at its Mettur facility in Tamil Nadu.
The brownfield project, set for commissioning by Q4 2027, aims to meet rising domestic demand and strengthen local supply, reinforcing its commitment to India’s specialty chemicals market.
