The US Customs and Border Protection has launched phase I of the Consolidated Administration and Processing of Entries (CAPE) tool in the Automated Commercial Environment Secure Data Portal.
Importers and customs brokers can file phase 1 requests for refunds through the portal.
In this phase, CAPE will process most entries that are either unliquidated or up to 80 days past their liquidation date.
