The US consumer price index for all urban consumers rose by 0.2 per cent month on month (MoM) on a seasonally-adjusted basis in January this year, according to US Bureau of Labor Statistics.
It increased by 2.4 per cent YoY in the month before seasonal adjustment after rising by 2.7 per cent YoY in December 2025.
The index for energy fell by 1.5 per cent MoM and decreased by 0.1 per cent YoY in January.
