DuPont has agreed to sell its Aramids business, including Kevlar and Nomex, to Arclin, a TJC portfolio company, in a $1.8 billion deal expected to close in Q1 2026.
DuPont will receive $1.2 billion cash, a $300 million note, and a 17.5 per cent equity stake.
The divestiture sharpens DuPont’s portfolio focus, while Arclin gains scale, global reach, and growth potential.
