The US EPA has proposed revising PFAS reporting rules under TSCA to reduce burdens while keeping essential data collection.
Exemptions include low-level PFAS, imported articles, byproducts, impurities, R&D chemicals, and non-isolated intermediates.
The plan lowers costs, clarifies reporting, and supports EPA administrator Lee Zeldin’s goal of gathering vital PFAS data without overburdening businesses.
