The US Cass Freight Index’s shipments component fell by 7.2 per cent month on month (MoM) in December, and by 3.2 per cent MoM in seasonally-adjusted terms, reaching a new cycle low.
The 7.5-per cent YoY drop in shipments in December was a bit below the full-year fall of 6.1 per cent.
