US textile and apparel imports fell 15.40 per cent in January–February 2026 to 14,173.67 million SME, with apparel and textiles both declining sharply.
Cotton and MMF imports also dropped.
Exports decreased by 9.83 per cent, though apparel shipments rose.
The trend reflects continued demand weakness after a softer 2025 and volatile recovery in 2024.
