United States textile and apparel import volumes declined 11.93 per cent year-on-year during January–March 2026 to 21.65 billion SME, with both apparel and non-apparel textile imports weakening.
Exports also fell 8.93 per cent, led by lower yarn and fabric shipments.
The data reflected continued softness in US textile trade following a broader slowdown seen in 2025.
