US textile and apparel imports rose 5.13 per cent to 59.59 billion SME in January–July 2025.
Apparel imports grew 2.59 per cent to 14.57 billion SME, while textile imports rose 5.98 per cent.
Cotton and MMF product imports also increased.
Exports edged up 0.99 per cent, led by a 7.72 per cent rise in apparel shipments, though fabric and yarn exports declined amid tariff-related volatility.
