US textile and apparel imports declined 11.95 per cent year on year to $23.701 billion in January-March 2026, according to OTEXA data.
Vietnam retained its position as the top supplier, while China’s share continued to shrink sharply.
Apparel and non-apparel imports both weakened, reflecting softer demand and an ongoing sourcing shift towards Southeast Asian suppliers.
