Most US trading partners that do not negotiate separate trade agreements would soon face tariffs of 15-20 per cent on their exports to the US, President Donald Trump has said.
The US administration will notify some 200 countries soon of their new ‘world tariff’ rate, he told reporters in Turnberry, Scotland.
He has already announced higher tariff rates of up to 50 per cent on some countries like Brazil.
