US weekly net sales of Upland cotton for 2024–25 plummeted 93 per cent to 5,500 RB, while Pima sales dropped 25 per cent, according to the USDA.
Export shipments also declined sharply.
For 2025–26, forward Upland sales reached 73,000 RB.
Major buyers included Vietnam, Peru and Turkiye, while Pakistan and Italy saw large reductions.
Pima exports fell 55 per cent, with India as the top destination.
