USISPF and the US Chamber of Commerce have welcomed progress toward an India–US trade deal following talks between President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The cut in India’s reciprocal tariff to 18 per cent is seen as a positive first step toward a broader bilateral trade agreement.
Both groups said deeper trade ties could boost businesses, supply chains and economic resilience.
