Vietnam’s trade deficit was $2.98 billion in January-February 2026.
Of this, the domestic economic sector’s trade deficit was $6.5 billion, while the foreign-invested sector posted a surplus of $3.52 billion.
The total trade volume was worth $155.7 billion in the period—up by 22.2 per cent YoY.
In February, trade volume hit $67.16 billion—down by 24.1 per cent month on month, but up by 5.1 per cent YoY.
