WTO chief Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has urged Nigeria to purposefully court global investors and keep an eye on supply chain relocations to cut import dependence, boost manufacturing and create jobs.
Rising geopolitical tensions have accelerated global supply chain diversification, creating scope for Nigeria, she said at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
Nigeria is “moving in the right direction,” she noted.
