Following a US Supreme Court ruling last week that struck down broad-based tariffs imposed under the IEEPA, invalidating the 10-per cent ‘fentanyl tariff’ and the 34-per cent ‘reciprocal tariff’ on Chinese goods, the US and China are scheduled to hold their sixth round of trade talks soon.
Both sides conducted five rounds of trade talks last year, with the last round taking place in Malaysia in October.
