Econic Technologies and Changhua Chemical have launched the world’s first commercial-scale plant producing polycarbonate ether (PCE) polyols made using captured CO₂.
Located in Lianyungang, the facility will produce 80,000 tons of Carnol polyols in 2026, offering up to 30 per cent lower carbon footprint while delivering improved performance in polyurethane applications.
