China’s textile and apparel exports rose 0.75 per cent year-on-year to $91.13 billion during January–April 2026, signalling a steadier recovery after weak performance in 2025.
Textile exports increased 2.3 per cent, while garment shipments edged lower.
Higher imports of yarns and fabrics reflected stronger raw material replenishment amid improving export demand in Asia.
