The EU has announced an investment package worth over $650 million for Vietnam, focusing on energy transition, sustainable transport and infrastructure capacity building.
It also launched a €40-million sustainable transport support mechanism, to mobilise over €1 billion for railways and urban transport.
Vietnam urged EU members to expedite ratification of the EU-Vietnam Investment Protection Agreement.
