The European Commission has imposed definitive anti-dumping duties of 29.1 per cent to 42.3 per cent on adipic acid imports from China.
The product is widely used in textiles, automotive, furniture, footwear and construction sectors.
EU imports of adipic acid total around €160 million (~$181 million), with China accounting for €130 million (~$147 million).
