After talks in New Delhi, India and the US said they are in the course to execute the first tranche of a bilateral trade pact by mid-July.
Most aspects have been finalised, Indian Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal, who met the US team, indicated.
However, key sticking points, including US tariff proposals and India’s push for relief from actions related to Section 301 probes, stay unresolved.
