Jordan’s apparel exports fell 21.7 per cent year on year to $695.3 million in January-April 2026, mainly due to a 25.3 per cent decline in shipments to the US, its largest market.
Despite the slowdown, the US accounted for over 71 per cent of exports.
Mexico emerged as the second-largest destination, with imports nearly doubling, indicating gradual diversification of Jordan’s export markets.
