Vietnam’s Binh Dinh province has signed an investment cooperation MoU with Sweden’s Syre Group on a polyester fabric recycling project, with a capacity of 250,000 tonnes per year and an investment of $1 billion.
It is expected to be operational by 2028 end.
The group will collect textile waste from India, Spain, Indonesia and the Philippines, and solve issues related to raw material imports.
