US President Donald Trump appears to have supported a bipartisan bill titled the ‘Sanctioning of Russia Act 2025’ that plans to raise tariffs on countries buying energy products from Russia to at least 500 per cent.
Republican Senator Lindsey Graham said Trump ‘greenlit’ the legislation.
He said the bill could be brought up for a bipartisan vote as early as next week.
