Australia’s monthly CPI indicator rose by 2.8 per cent in the 12 months to July, the Australian Bureau of Statistics said.
It was 1.9 per cent in the year to June.
Annual trimmed mean inflation was 2.7 per cent to July.
The CPI excluding volatile items and holiday travel measure rose by 3.2 per cent in the 12 months to July.
The monthly CPI for clothing and footwear rose by 2.3 per cent YoY in July.
